Director Tomás Travelho grew up in Mira, Coimbra, in the center of Portugal. During his childhood, he developed a passion for cinema which also fostered his ability to tell stories visually. He moved to Covilhã at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior. Currently, he is finishing his master's degree in Cinema at the same university.
